{"id":1809,"date":"2024-03-15T15:59:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-15T15:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medicalcps.dfki.de\/?p=1809"},"modified":"2024-05-14T12:07:28","modified_gmt":"2024-05-14T12:07:28","slug":"successful-completion-of-the-lighthouse-project-ophthalmo-ai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medicalcps.dfki.de\/?p=1809","title":{"rendered":"Successful completion of the lighthouse project Ophthalmo-AI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After three years, the <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalcps.dfki.de\/?page_id=1687\">Ophthalmo-AI project<\/a>, which focused on intelligent, cooperative medical decision support in ophthalmology, was concluded in mid-March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four demonstrators (including an intelligent learning tool to support image diagnoses and a dashboard to support treatment decisions in therapy) were developed as part of the project and were evaluated very positively in the two participating clinics (Augenklinik Sulzbach, Augenzentrum am St. Franziskus-Hospital M\u00fcnster).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, two Master\u2019s theses were completed as part of the project, with one completed and one planned employment of the students as IML employees in Oldenburg and Saarbr\u00fccken.
